DigiFist is a high-level Shopify agency and Shopify Premier Partner, trusted by leading brands such as The Body Shop, L'Occitane, FAE, Pierre Cardin, and more.We also are an official Shopify Theme Store Partner, with top-selling themes used by merchants globally.We operate at a high standard — and we're looking for someone who does too.We're currently hiring a Development Team Lead who can drive execution, raise the bar on quality, and lead a team with clarity and accountability.This role is for the top 3%: someone who combines strong Shopify engineering with real leadership and delivery ownership.Your RoleAs our Development Team Lead, you will:Lead and manage the development team and ensure consistent deliveryOwn project execution: scope control, priorities, deadlines, and release planningCreate a clear workflow between Development, QA, and Project ManagementIdentify blockers early and solve them fast (or escalate clearly)Maintain high engineering standards: code reviews, performance, Shopify best practicesCoach developers and improve team efficiency and accountabilityThis is a hands-on leadership role where ownership and delivery are non-negotiable.What We're Looking ForYou have:4+ years of experience in Shopify development (themes + custom work)Strong skills in Liquid, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML/CSS, and the Shopify ecosystemProven experience leading a team (planning, decision-making, follow-up)Strong communication skills and the ability to align with PMs and stakeholdersA structured mindset: tickets, sprints, clear definitions of doneThe ability to balance speed + quality without chaosExperience with Shopify PlusPerformance optimization experience (Core Web Vitals, speed, SEO basics)QA/release management experienceNice to HaveTheme architecture experience (scalable, reusable components)What We OfferA high-impact role inside a fast-moving Shopify agencyOwnership and the ability to improve processes end-to-endA team that wants to move forward with clear leadershipCompetitive compensation + growth opportunitiesRemote / hybrid flexibility (depending on location)Location & TypeRemote / hybrid (flexible)Full-time preferred (interim/freelance is also possible for a fast start)ApplySend us:Your CV or LinkedIn profileA short motivation (max. 5 sentences)Optional: 1–2 Shopify projects you're proud of
