BSAM en BSEMEA zijn dochterondernemingen van Bridgestone Corporation, met het wereldwijde hoofdkantoor in Japan.Over de functie:De Financial Control Specialist maakt deel uit van een team dat verantwoordelijk is voor de statutaire- en groepsrapportage voor Bridgestone Europe NV (BSEU NV) en zorgt ervoor dat deze voldoet aan BE GAAP, IFRS en interne governance. In deze rol ben je mede verantwoordelijk voor tijdige financiële closings, werk je actief aan procesverbeteringen en werk je nauw samen met het Shared service center en de verschillende business teams in het kader van verschillende projecten.Verantwoordelijkheden:Voorbereiden van de statutaire financial statements voor BSEU NV en haar filialen, waarbij wordt toegezien op BEGAAP compliance en lokale vereistenMede verantwoordelijk voor maand-, kwartaal- en jaarafsluitingsactiviteiten onder IFRS in nauwe samenwerking met het team en het Shared Service Center (SSC)Berekenen en verwerken van accruals op basis van input van verschillende busines unitsSamenwerken met SSC-teams in het kader van GL reconciliatiesUitvoeren van financiële analyses en variantie analyses en vervolgens advies verlenenCompliance verzekeren met internal controls, accounting policies en corporate reportingIdentificeer en implementeer mogelijkheden om financiële closing processen te stroomlijnen en te optimaliserenBetrokken bij budgeting en forecasting cyclesBetrokken bij financiële transformatieprojecten en systeemverbeteringenAansturen van automatisatieprojecten binnen accounting- en rapportageprocessenProfiel:Bachelor of Master in Finance, Accounting of gelijkwaardigMinstens 4 jaar progressieve ervaring binnen FinanceGrondige kennis van BE GAAP, en tenminste basiskennis van IFRSUitstekende vaardigheid in ExcelErvaring met een ERP systeem (Bridgestone werkt met SAP S/4HANA)Het team gebruikt PowerBI voor dashboards en datavisualisatie. Ervaring hiermee is dan ook een pluspunt.
