T&DS - Head of Digital Workplace

Reporting to the Deputy CITO, the Head of Digital Workplace is responsible for shaping and leading the digital workplace strategy within the organisation, leveraging the full suite of Microsoft M365 solutions. This pivotal role serves as the driving force for digital transformation, ensuring that collaborators are equipped with modern tools, collaborative platforms, and secure environments to perform at their best. Acting as a bridge between IT, business units, and end users, the Head of Digital Workplace will drive adoption, and oversee continuous improvement of workplace technologies to enhance productivity, communication, and collaborator experience.As the subject matter expert in Microsoft M365, the role requires a deep understanding of digital workplace trends, user-centric design, and change management. The Head of Digital Workplace will collaborate closely with senior stakeholders, technology partners, and the wider IT team to deliver a future-ready digital environment aligned with organisational goals.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute a comprehensive digital workplace strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and IT roadmaps.Lead the implementation, optimisation, and ongoing management of Microsoft M365 tools, including Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange, Intune and related applications.Drive user adoption and engagement through effective communication, training programmes, and support initiatives.Oversee digital workplace governance, ensuring compliance with security (ISO 27001, SOC 2 Type II), privacy, and regulatory requirements (CE+).Partner with business leaders to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation using M365 capabilities.Manage relationships with external vendors, consultants, and technology partners to ensure best-in-class solutions and support.Lead and develop a high-performing digital workplace team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.Provide regular reporting and insights to senior management on digital workplace performance, adoption metrics, and improvement initiatives.Ensure effective change management and communication strategies for digital workplace projects and upgrades.Key RequirementsProven experience in leading digital workplace transformation within a large, complex organisation.In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with the Microsoft M365 ecosystem, including configuration, administration, and integration.Strong understanding of digital collaboration tools, user experience principles, and change management methodologies.Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver strategic roadmaps and operational plans.Experience with IT governance, information security, and compliance relevant to M365 environments.Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.Leadership experience in managing multidisciplinary teams and driving organisational change.Relevant degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field; professional certifications in Microsoft technologies are highly desirable.Fluent in English and French; additional language skills are an advantage.About Technology & digital solutions The Technology & digital solutions (T&DS) is leading Forvis Mazars digital transformation.
