The job location can be Leuven or Ghent. ScopeThe Business Development Manager actively reaches out to new leads, establishes long term relationships with existing customers, works closely together with our technical staff, aligns with suppliers, initiates marketing activities and contributes to business communication. ResponsibilitiesReach out to potential new customers via mailings, dedicated meetings, telephone calls and company presentationsInitiate marketing activities and participate in trade shows, exhibitions and networking eventsIdentify feasible new business opportunities and turn them into commercial projectsQualify and define the project in close cooperation with the technical staffAssist in legal discussions and drafting contract with customers and suppliersBe a trusted advisor for your customers and create a long term relationship based on trustHigh-level follow-up of projects and presence at important meetingsMaintain supplier relationships and align supplier capabilities with business opportunity needsCoordinate press releases and contribute to our business communicationConsult regularly with Chief Business Development Officer regarding sales forecast CompetencesYou have a strong technical background in micro-electronicsStrategic sales experience in the semiconductor industry is a must You are able to set-up a sales and marketing plan and you can interpret P&L You are eager to bring in new customers and you are driven by customer satisfactionYou have the ability to build relationships at all levelsYou have good planning, organizational and problemsolving skillsYou have the flexibility to adapt and to meet changing requirementsYou are able to travel and to work evenings when required (20%)Our offerThe job location can be Leuven or GhentAn attractive salary package with a variety of extra benefitsA stimulating and pleasant working environment with regular team activitiesA financially healthy company with growth potentialPossibility to continuously learn and grow through in-house and external trainings
