THE SEARCH:DRAX Executive is delighted to partner with an organisation that serves as the backbone of Belgium's mobile connectivity. The company oversees a wide network of critical broadcast sites and supports operators through stable, long-term agreements. Originating from a major portfolio transfer within the telecoms sector, it continues to expand its footprint through committed new-site development.THE ROLE:We are looking for a driven, curious and hands-on Operational Controller to strengthen our finance team. You will be the first line of review on the monthly closing cycle, ensuring accuracy, discipline and continuous improvement.The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, enjoys building automation and smart reporting flows, and takes pride in enabling data-driven decisions and will report directly to the CFO.Key Responsibilities:Month-end Closing & ReportingOwn and coordinate the monthly closing calendar and checklistUpdate monthly trackers (financial & operational)First-level review of monthly closing accuracy and completenessVariance analysis (month-on-month, YoY, actuals vs budget)Preparation of monthly reporting packSupport investor reporting (iLevel)ESG data collection & reporting coordinationPrepare recurrent monthly investor presentation in PowerPointTax on pylon financial management: from actuals (follow-up and reporting) to budgetingAutomation & ToolsDevelop and maintain process automations in Business Central & Power BIOptimise templates, presentations and reporting flows across ERP, Excel and PowerPointContribute to digitalisation and efficiency initiatives in FinanceOperational FinanceAccounts receivable follow-up and client relationships (for finance-related matters)KPI ownership – accuracy and timely reporting: site counts, tenant count, tenancy ratio, related operational indicatorsTax on pylon financial management: from actuals (follow-up and reporting) to budgetingPolicies & ControlsSupport PR-PO-GL framework implementation and complianceMaintain and follow up approval matrixDocument and improve recurring processesTHE REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor's or Master's in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related5 years' relevant experience in controlling, audit, accounting or FP&AStrong analytical mindset; accuracy and structure matter to youComfort with ERP systems (Business Central experience is a plus)Very good Excel & PowerPoint skills; Power BI affinity is a strong assetInterest in process automation and continuous improvementCurious, proactive, reliable, willing to go deep and understand driversClear communicator, collaborative, comfortable challenging and being challengedLanguages: English plus French or Dutch (trilingual a plus)
