Kronos by Epsa is currently looking for a Junior Financial Controller for one of our banking clients based in Leuven. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional with up to 2 years of experience to develop their expertise within a regulated banking environment.Your roleAs a Junior Financial Controller, you will support accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting while working closely with senior stakeholders.Your key responsibilities include:Coordinating monthly and quarterly closings, including controlling, analysis, and reporting on costs and incomePerforming driver-based cost analyses and providing insights and recommendations to senior managementPreparing financial statements and ensuring reporting to financial regulators and authoritiesActing as the Single Point of Contact for external auditors and following up on open audit pointsHandling ad hoc financial queries from various business lines within your scopeYour profileUp to 2 years of experience in accounting and/or cost controllingStrong knowledge of financial reporting in a regulated environment is a plusExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsFluency in Dutch and EnglishKey competencies:Analytical thinkingEffective communicationFlexibility and adaptabilityAbility to work independentlyStrong priority managementQuality-driven mindsetStress resistanceWhat We OfferAt Kronos by EPSA, you don't just take on a job – you build a career.
