What will you be doing in this role?

Development of front-end website architecture and design of user interactions on web pages while also develop of back-end website applications.
Implement core business logic.
Apply data and security best practices: input validation, authentication/authorization, secure storage, compliant logging and monitoring.
Ensure web applications are optimized for performance and functionality across different browsers and devices.
Design responsive applications and design and develop APIs.
Participate in the design and creation of scalable software.
Maintenance of code integrity and organisation.
Writing clean, functional code on the front- and back-end.
Compile and analyse data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement.
Perform unit/integration testing, debug, fix, and validate code changes.
Deliver solutions that fulfil functional and non-functional requirements and align with user expectations.
Write technical documentation.
Develop and maintain features across the entire stack, from designing user interfaces and consuming APIs to implementing server-side business logic and database interactions.
Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms using CI/CD pipelines.
Bridge the gap between front-end and back-end developers, facilitating communication and ensuring cohesive integration of all system components.

Requirements

What do you need to succeed in this position?

Master's degree in IT and minimum 15 years of relevant experience (or Bachelor’s degree in IT and minimum 17 years of relevant experience).
5 years of cumulative experience using JSP and Apache Tiles in combination, where both technologies were used concurrently within the same assignment/project.
At least one year of cumulative experience developing Angular frontend software and RESTful endpoints in combination, where both technologies were used concurrently within the same assignment/project.
Minimum 10 years of experience developing software using Java.
15 years of cumulative experience developing frontend software using HTML and JavaScript in combination, where both technologies were used concurrently within the same assignment/project.
At least 10 years of cumulative experience developing software using Spring Framework and Hibernate in combination, where both technologies were used concurrently within the same assignment/project.
10 years of experience developing software using Oracle SQL.
Experience with Git and its workflows.
Experience with AI-assisted software-development tools, including their secure configuration and the ability to exclude source code or other information from AI processing where required by confidentiality or security requirements.
Experience with cloud services (e.g. Amazon Web Services, Azure), including deploying and managing applications in a cloud environment.
Advanced English (C1) communication skills (written and spoken).
