About The Position:

Coordinating, organizing, and optimizing technical processes, disciplines, and projects; providing specialized advice and developing safety guidelines within one's own domain(s) of specialization with the aim of improving operational efficiency in the medium term, further deepening knowledge within one's own domain of specialization, and ensuring safety.

Result areas:

• Proactively identifying optimization opportunities in collaboration with various internal and/or external stakeholders with the aim of mapping and initiating improvements and/or projects.
  • Mapping and applying internal and external lessons learned and best practices in the context of improvements.
  • Monitoring, adjusting, and optimizing (process) installations. 
  • Drafting technical and/or operational documents.

• Preparing, guiding, and executing in-depth and specialized calculations, analyses, and/or research within the framework of issues and/or projects, with the aim of enabling adjustments and innovations and contributing to optimizations.
  • Designing installations and processes.
  • Developing new models and/or methodologies.
  • Drafting, verifying, and adjusting various memos, files, studies, and working methods.

• Developing technical solutions and specifications within the framework of projects and/or issues with the aim of addressing improvement needs.
  • Technically translating the need into a compliant solution.
  • Develop and implement action plans and/or innovative developments.
  • Drafting reports and recommendations and gathering the necessary information for this purpose.

• Conducting and/or participating in risk analyses and drafting safety measures within the framework of projects, modifications, and/or periodic reviews with the aim of contributing to the safety of installations and/or the broader working environment.
  • Performing and/or participating in HAZOP, FMEA, SWIFT, MOC, …

• Leading, organizing, and adjusting projects, as well as reporting, with the aim of realizing the work in line with the predetermined deadlines, budgets, project objectives, and quality requirements.
  • Drawing up and following up on project schedules, as well as monitoring and reporting on the project budget.
  • Setting up consultation structures with various stakeholders and preparing reports.
  • Coordinating the project from the start phase to the closure phase according to the applicable PMO procedure.

• Continuously ensure the analysis of and provision of the necessary project, maintenance, and/or framework contracts in accordance with the Public Procurement Act, as well as be able to act as a lead official with the aim of always acting in compliance with laws and regulations and mitigating legal risks.
  • AZ develop and/or coordinate the drafting of tender documents, taking into account the correct technical specifications.
  • Guiding and contributing to the awarding process.
  • Following up on, evaluating, and adjusting the assignments.

• Providing in-depth technical advice and acting as an expert within one's own domain of specialization to internal and external stakeholders, as well as following up on implementations with the aim of providing technical support to stakeholders and facilitating analyses, projects, and activities based on one's own substantive knowledge.
  • Monitoring the maintainability, safety, availability, and/or reliability of technical installations and processes in the long term, both in the context of studies and in the field.
  • Drafting and monitoring the content, correctness, and completeness of acceptance criteria and files (including project files, permit files, safety files, construction files, accreditation files, maintenance/operation files, etc.).
  • Designing and realizing installations according to a TCO principle and taking into account
    incident investigations and best practices.

• To act as a knowledge holder for the specialization domain within the organization with the aim of centralizing, standardizing, safeguarding, and sharing specific knowledge and information within the organization.
  • Keeping the level of knowledge up-to-date and continuously expanding it (participating in conferences and/or trade fairs, monitoring standards and legislation, etc.), as well as ensuring the retention and sharing of knowledge, for example through training and toolboxes.
  • Drafting and reviewing specifications, standards, and processes.
  • Developing, maintaining, and contributing to the medium-term maintenance and replacement plans within own domain(s) of specialization, including budgeting.
