About the Company
Spotable is building the digital infrastructure for the exterior of buildings. Today, roofing and façade companies use Spotable to go from an address to a 3D model, material calculation and quotation. Together with manufacturers and distributors, we are transforming how construction products are specified, sold and ordered. But the value of our technology goes far beyond roofing contractors. Insurers need better building data. Architects need faster measurements and insights. Real estate companies need scalable property intelligence. Banks need to understand the assets they finance. Private equity firms need better data on the companies and real estate portfolios they acquire. And we believe there are many more use cases we haven’t discovered yet.
About the Role
Build Spotable’s next revenue engines. That’s where you come in. We are looking for someone who can identify, validate and build entirely new commercial verticals for Spotable. You won’t inherit a mature sales playbook. You’ll create one. Think of yourself as a mini-founder responsible for finding Spotable’s next growth engines. Responsibilities Your role:
• Identify, validate and build entirely new commercial verticals for Spotable.
• Research markets, identify promising use cases, find the right companies and decision-makers, start conversations, build the business case, create proposals and close the first deals yourself. What you’ll do:
• Own the full journey from idea → research → opportunity → first customer → scalable vertical.
• Research new markets and identify where Spotable’s technology can create meaningful value.
• Explore verticals such as insurance, architecture, real estate, banking, private equity, asset management and property services.
• Identify the strongest use cases and determine who would actually pay for them.
• Build target account lists and map the relevant decision-makers.
• Source your own deals through outbound, introductions, events and partnerships.
• Run discovery meetings with senior stakeholders and C-level executives.
• Translate customer problems into compelling Spotable use cases and business cases.
• Create pilot structures, commercial proposals and partnership models.
• Negotiate and close the first strategic customers yourself.
• Work closely with product and engineering to validate what is technically and commercially feasible.
• Turn successful experiments into repeatable go-to-market strategies.
• Decide together with the founders which verticals deserve further investment and potentially their own team. What success looks like: After your first months, we expect you to have:
• mapped and prioritized several potential new verticals;
• spoken with dozens of relevant companies and industry experts;
• validated concrete business cases;
• built a strong pipeline of strategic opportunities;
• closed the first customers or pilots in new markets;
• identified at least one vertical with the potential to become a meaningful new revenue stream for Spotable.
• Longer term, you could become responsible for building the team around the verticals you successfully create. Required skills
• We are not looking for someone who simply executes an existing sales process.
• We are looking for someone who enjoys figuring things out.
• Someone who can spend the morning researching a completely new industry, speak with a CEO in the afternoon and turn that conversation into a commercial proposal the next day. You probably:
• Have experience in business development, strategy, consulting, venture building, partnerships or enterprise sales.
• Are extremely curious and quickly understand new industries and business models.
• Can independently research markets and identify commercial opportunities.
• Are comfortable reaching out to people you don’t know.
• Can hold your own in conversations with founders, executives and corporate decision-makers.
• Understand how to build a business case, not just give a product demo.
• Are commercially sharp and enjoy negotiating and closing deals.
• Can operate with very little structure or predefined playbook.
• Are analytical enough to kill weak ideas quickly and ambitious enough to pursue big ones.
• Take ownership from the first Google search all the way to a signed contract. You’ll love this role if:
• You enjoy asking:
• “What else could we do with this technology?”
• You like opening doors that nobody at Spotable has opened before.
• You’d rather build a market than inherit a territory.
• And you get energy from turning an idea on a whiteboard into a paying customer. Why Spotable?
• You’ll work directly with the founders on some of the most strategic questions in the company.
• You’ll have the freedom to explore markets, test ideas and pursue opportunities across Europe and beyond.
• And most importantly: you won’t just be selling Spotable. You’ll help decide what Spotable becomes next.
