LVO Industries is a permanent capital holding company. We acquire family-owned and owner-operated businesses and partner with them to ensure their long-term success. At LVO, you’ll join a small, dynamic team operating in an entrepreneurial environment. Role & Responsibilities As Operations Director, you will be responsible for advising, guiding, and implementing strategies that enhance the operational performance and growth of portfolio companies. You will carry out specific change and improvement projects within companies, in close collaboration with companies' managers/CEOs and the LVO team. Your responsibilities will be diverse and evolve over time, and will at least include:
• Identify and implement value creation strategies, driving initiatives across portfolio companies to grow both the top line and the bottom line (e.g. cost reductions, resource optimisation, pricing strategies, opening of new markets, etc.).
• Streamline processes, implement digital productivity tools, lead ERP migrations, and similar operational upgrades.
• Provide operational support to company managers on specific issues (e.g. recruitment, relationships with key clients/suppliers, dispute resolution, opening of offices/subsidiaries, etc.).
• Act as a point of contact between LVO and portfolio companies for all operational matters (including acting as a company director where relevant).
• Recruit, mentor and coach managers, and support talent development within portfolio companies, including by participating in the recruitment of key people in line with the LVO & HR talent strategy.
• Collaborate with the investment team on the analysis and due diligence of new acquisition opportunities (operational/integration angle: identification of key issues and opportunities, etc.). • No specific degree requirement, although reasoning at master's level is a must.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience with a high impact on his/her environment and a track record of leading and implementing operational change in an organisation (notably in the areas listed in the Role & Responsibilities).
• Digitally savvy and a keen user of technology.
• Fully fluent in Dutch, French and English, both written and spoken.
• Open to work via own management company.
