China State Construction Engineering (Hong Kong) Limited (“the Company” or “China State Hong Kong”) started its construction business in Hong Kong in 1979. The Company engages in building construction and civil engineering works. China State Hong Kong is among the largest construction contractors in Hong Kong, and is approved by the Works Bureau, to be on the List of Approved Contractors (Group C) for Public Works in the five major categories of building and civil engineering works, namely, “Buildings”, “Port Works”, “Roads and Drainage”, “Site Formation” and “Waterworks”. Responsibilities
• Proficient in E&M equipment and material selection, effectively evaluating vendor proposals to ensure optimal value for money.
• Oversee pre & post-contract administration for supply agreements, ensuring the effective resolution of contractual disputes.
• Manage suppliers and expand supplier resources. Requirements
• Degree or above in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Building services).
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in E&M materials and equipment procurement or project management, with relevant experience in main contractors / E&M contractors; familiar with supply chain management and E&M materials management.
• Strong command of both written and spoken Chinese and English.
• Good leadership skills and professional integrity; detail minded and highly efficient.
• Proficient in mainstream office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); knowledge of ERP or digital procurement systems is an advantage.
• Experience in Mainland China/overseas procurement is preferred.
• Candidates with less experience may be considered for a junior position.
