The VMI Business Analyst (BA) is the subject matter expert (SME) within the Datalliance (DA) solution ecosystem. The BA’s responsibility begins as the SME in the sales process and continues throughout the customers lifecycle from implementation to retention. Responsibilities include: Sales process SME
- Participate in prospect meetings/calls
- Provide DA solution feature benefits to the prospects use case
- Demo the DA solution to prospects Project Management and implementation for new Clients
- Coordinate supplier and distributor set up
- Coordinate data exchange and testing.
- Coordinate internal operational tasks.
- Perform mass data manipulation and validation.
- Define new application requirements (features and functionality) customer requirements.
- Conduct on-site training session for new Client VMI Planners. Ongoing analysis and support
- On-going review and analysis of DA performance at the customer level
- Map performance observations with recommendations in the Account Management process
- Assist clients in adjustments to system configuration variables to solve customer needs
- Level 2, 3 and Critical Support Case responsibility Responsibilities
- Track and report data
- Build cross-functional partnerships, internally and externally
- Manage budgets
- Maintain a competitive market knowledge Consult with existing customers to improve their VMI Strategy
- Participate in performance reviews with clients
- Conduct introductory Performance Reviews.
- Work with Customer to identify goals and expectations.
- Assist Client staff in developing plans for improvement. System Development Consulting
- Provide input on development of new system features.
- Conduct testing of new system features.
- Provide instruction to assigned clients on new system features.
- Special Projects (as assigned) Qualifications
- Business system experience and understanding of Inventory Management.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Excellent written and oral communications skills in English and French.
- Other languages are a plus.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Willingness to learn.
- Data migration/management/manipulation experience.
- Experience with databases, including writing queries.
