About BESIX Invest

Within the group, BESIX Invest focuses on the acquisition, investment, operation and maintenance of diversified projects in both the public and private sectors (such as locks, highways, tunnels, bridges, hospitals, schools, large buildings, wastewater treatment plants, waste incinerators, solar PV parks, etc.). Most of the current projects are large PPPs (Public-Private Partnerships).

As part of Belgium's largest construction group, active worldwide and involved in some of the largest infrastructure and construction tenders brought to market, BESIX Invest currently holds participations in more than 20 projects, with equity invested or committed in excess of EUR 300 million.

PPP Europe is the division responsible for all European Public-Private Partnership projects and their related investments, as well as other European investment projects within the group. It brings together highly qualified professionals with expertise in bid management, structured finance and legal matters.

The division is active across a broad range of sectors, from civil infrastructure works to complex buildings and industrial environmental facilities, with total development and construction costs typically ranging from EUR 100 million to EUR 2 billion.

As we are continuously growing in an evolving and challenging environment, we are looking to reinforce our existing dynamic team with someone who is thrilled to grow with us and take, depending on her or his experience, the responsibilities below:

Taking responsibility in managing all aspects of PPP/DBFM(O) (Design Build Finance Maintain (Operate)) Bid submissions (on an SPV level and in close collaboration with colleagues from BESIX Contracting), from very early stages up to financial close, such asLeading or participating in discussions/ negotiations with the authorities (such as De Werkvennootschap, Regie der Gebouwen, Rijkswaterstaat, …), with our consortium partners and with internal clients and as the case may be acting as the first point of contactPlay an active role as member of bid teams (with representatives from our consortium partners)Review of tender documentation;Closely collaborate with technical staff, clients, partners, suppliers and external stakeholders, consultants & architects;Coordinate and stimulate the interaction between the different fields of expertise involved in the bid process such as design, construction, finance, legal and maintenance in order to optimize the solutionsAssistance with the preparation of final bid documents;Reporting to BESIX senior management about status updates, go/no-go decisions to be made, final investment proposal,...Set and maintain BESIX’ high quality standards and group rules, in both the process and end products;
