Context

Within an Agile organization, the functional analyst joins a multidisciplinary Automation Squad working on AI and GenAI topics. The team includes marketing, analyst and process engineering profiles and operates in the energy sector in Belgium.

Mission

Act as the bridge between business and technical profiles. Analyze and translate requirements and processes into specifications, and work with the team to propose end-to-end, cost-efficient solutions that meet customer needs. Use an iterative, adaptable approach to challenge requirements and specifications, and an MVP way of working to accelerate time to market and deliver value quickly.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and processes and translate them into specifications for GenAI changes.

• Collaborate with business and technical profiles to define end-to-end solutions.

• Challenge requirements and specifications with a critical mindset, focusing on outcomes and value.

• Communicate GenAI technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Analyze, evaluate and visually represent GenAI results, using relevant measurements and KPIs.

• Support collaboration and relationship-building across diverse teams.

Technical environment

• Generative AI: Azure AI, AWS, large language models (LLMs), prompt engineering and guardrail management

• Agentic AI: AWS AgentCore, Microsoft 365 (M365), Microsoft Copilot Studio

• Programming and data: Python, data analytics concepts and tools

Expected deliverables

• Requirements and process specifications for GenAI implementations

• Proposed end-to-end solutions aligned with customer needs and cost efficiency

• Analysis, evaluation and visual representation of GenAI results, including relevant measurements and KPIs

• MVP-oriented outputs supporting rapid time to market and early value creation

Profile

Experience

• Proven experience as an analyst on GenAI change implementations within a corporate organization

• Confirmed experience (3–5 years) with AWS, scripting in Python and the Belgian energy sector

• Experience with Generative AI technologies and applications, including Azure AI and AWS

Technical skills

• Knowledge of Generative AI principles, including how large language models work

• Prompt engineering and guardrail management

• Basic or confirmed AWS AgentCore technical skills

• Knowledge of agentic AI in Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Copilot Studio

• Familiarity with data analytics concepts and tools

• Ability to analyze, evaluate and visually represent GenAI results and use relevant KPIs

Soft skills

• Strong communication skills, including explaining technical GenAI concepts to non-technical stakeholders

• Ability to foster collaboration and build relationships across diverse teams

• Mature stakeholder management, with a focus on outcomes and value

• Critical mindset and confidence challenging experienced AI engineers and analysts

Languages

• Trilingual in English, French and Dutch; either French or Dutch may be at a lower level
