Job description

At a major banking group, building a Google Cloud Foundation MVP with Google Gemini as the first use case, alongside the existing AI platforms Microsoft Foundry and AWS Bedrock.
Expected evolution toward an enterprise-ready solution, enabling efficient onboarding of future DevOps teams while complying with the group's standards, policies and governance requirements.

Missions

• Architecture & Platform Design

  • Implement an enterprise-wide Google Cloud architecture aligned with internal guidelines, standards and policies

  • Define a future-proof cloud foundation, with the adoption of Google Gemini across the organization as the first use case

  • Provide recommendations on governance, security and operating models

• Security & Governance

  • Develop and implement a threat model

  • Share knowledge of and implement governance standards covering encryption, standards and policies, access management and compliance requirements

  • Design security controls and integrate them into existing security processes

• Identity & Access Management

  • Design and implement IAM architectures

  • Implement an RBAC model, federated identity and least-privilege principles

• Operations & Monitoring

  • Implement logging, monitoring and observability capabilities

  • Integrate the solution with existing SIEM platforms

  • Define and implement operational processes for incident management and platform operations

• Cloud Management & FinOps

  • Define and implement an engagement model with Google similar to the operating model currently used with AWS and Azure

  • Set up cost tracking, showback/chargeback and cost management processes

  • Advise on cloud governance and lifecycle management

• Networking

  • Design and implement Google Cloud network architectures

• Implementation

  • Automate platform components using Infrastructure as Code

  • Implement foundational services and security controls

  • Support the migration of existing workloads to the new platform

Requirements

1. Proven experience with Google Cloud Platform in enterprise environments

2. Experience designing and implementing cloud foundations or landing zones

3. Hands-on implementation experience

4. Experience operationalizing enterprise cloud platforms

5. Good knowledge of IAM, security, networking and cloud governance

6. Knowledge of enterprise cloud architecture

7. Knowledge of FinOps practices

8. Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code

9. Ability to design and implement governance, security and operating models

10. Ability to integrate solutions with existing security processes and SIEM platforms

11. Ability to design and implement Google Cloud network architectures

12. Fluency in english is mandatory and dutch is a really strong plus
