Translating business requirements into business cases and functional

• Performing As-Is / To-Be analysis and Fit-Gap analysis.
• Creating workflow and process representations using recognised modelling
standards.
• Conducting gap analyses between current and desired states and
identifying potential solutions.
• Translating business requirements into detailed functional specifications
for development and solution-design teams.
• Identifying and documenting risks associated with processes, systems and
organisational changes and proposing mitigation strategies.
• Contributing to strategic documentation, including business cases, vision
documents, project charters and security plans.
• Preparing Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional
Specifications, User Stories and Acceptance Criteria.
• Defining and managing acceptance criteria and supporting test case
design and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Maintaining requirements traceability between features/user stories and
corresponding test cases.
• Managing requirements changes throughout the project lifecycle.
• Defining non-functional requirements (NFRs) covering areas such as
performance, security and usability.
• Facilitating communication between business stakeholders, developers,
testers and other technical teams.
Required Technical Expertise
Candidates should demonstrate solid experience with Business Analysis in
complex IT environments, including:
• Good understanding of information systems.
• Good knowledge of system-to-system integrations and APIs.
• Business analysis and modelling techniques, including:
o User Stories
o Use Cases
o Acceptance Criteria
o State Diagrams
o Entity Relationship Models
• Good knowledge of BPMN and/or UML, or equivalent modelling standards.
• Experience with diagramming, modelling and wireframing tools such as:
o Microsoft Visio
o Balsamiq
o Lucidchart
o Axure
o Pencil
o UML/BPMN modelling tools
• Experience with collaboration and documentation platforms such as
Confluence and SharePoint.
• Knowledge of software development and governance methodologies
including Agile, SAFe, Scrum and ITIL. xlxgzvr
• Experience with requirements and work-management platforms such as
Jira or GitLab, including backlog management using epics and user stories.
Mandatory Experience
The proposed professional must demonstrate at least:
• 3.5 years of experience with Agile / SAFe
• 3.5 years of experience with BPMN
• 3.5 years of experience with mock-up/wireframing tools, such as
Balsamiq
• 3.5 years of experience with Jira / Confluence
• 3.5 years of experience with UML
