pWe currently have a vacancy for an Operations Engineer fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels, Belgium. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team. /p h3Your tasks: /h3 ul liArchitect and implement secure, interoperable solutions using standard frameworks and design patterns, integrating application and infrastructure to achieve scalability and efficiency; /li liDevelop robust, vendor-agnostic data platforms for AI and machine learning workloads, optimising multi-cloud environments for performance and flexibility. Design of structured MLOps pipelines automating and streamlining the models’ lifecycle, from development to serving; /li liDesign security architectures that protect infrastructure and applications, aligning with risk management strategies and regulatory data protection and security standards; /li liContinuously assess and optimise system performance and scalability using advanced metrics and predictive analytics; /li liCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including AI developers, business analysts, and IT operations, to ensure architecture aligns with business objectives and technological capabilities; /li liEstablish CI/CD pipelines to support rapid application development and deployment in dynamic environments, utilising infrastructure-as-code and configuration management tools; /li liEnsure seamless system integration and cross-platform compatibility through strategic API design, interoperability testing, and continuous benchmarking. /li /ul ul liUniversity degree in IT combined with relevant IT professional experience of at least 10 years; /li liExpertise in containerisation and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes for scalable application deployment; /li liExpertise in network architecture design, particularly integrating distributed systems with hybrid cloud solutions and including management of network policies at cluster level; /li liSignificant experience with managing and optimising data-intensive distributed systems for processing, querying and storing; /li liComprehensive experience with relational and non-relational databases, optimising them for high-volume transaction processing (e.g., Oracle, PostgreSQL, OpenSearch, MongoDB) /li liProficiency with advanced monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana to enhance infrastructure monitoring and real-time alerting; /li liExperience with advanced load balancing solutions and caching technologies (e.g. Redis) to support high-traffic applications; /li liKnowledge of security and vulnerability scanning tools (e.g., OWASP, SonarQube), implementing secure coding practices including robust encryption and identity management; /li liProfound knowledge of version control systems like Git and integration platforms such as Jenkins, GitLab CI; /li liProficiency in distributed streaming and message queue technologies such as Kafka and RabbitMQ to efficiently manage data flows and support scalable data processing architectures; /li liProficiency in using infrastructure-as-code like Terraform and AWS CloudFormation; /li liGood knowledge of the GitOps framework and tools that follow its prescription to manage deployments and achieve the desired application state (e.g., ArgoCD); /li liFamiliarity with configuration management tools like Ansible for comprehensive system administration; /li liFamiliarity with AI-powered code assistants (e.g., Amazon Kiro, GitHub Copilot) for accelerating coding processes and enhancing developer productivity; /li liExcellent command of the English language. /li /ul pWe offer a competitive remuneration (either on contract basis or remuneration with full benefits package), based on qualifications and experience.
