Business Analyst – Identity & Access Management (IAM)
Location:
Brussels, Belgium Duration: 6 Months Start Date: August 2026 Work Model: Hybrid (on-site presence may be required based on project needs and performance)
Experience:
8–10 Years Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst – Identity & Access Management (IAM) to support enterprise IAM initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in requirements gathering, business process analysis, and IAM governance, with expertise across Access Management, Identity Lifecycle Management, and Privileged Access Management. You will work closely with business stakeholders, application owners, IAM operations teams, and technical teams to define IAM requirements, document business processes, and support the implementation of identity governance solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Gather and analyze business and functional requirements for IAM initiatives. Collaborate with business owners, application owners, and IAM operations teams to collect required information and obtain business approvals. Document functional and non-functional requirements for: Access Management Identity Lifecycle Management Privileged Access Management (PAM) Reporting and Analytics Create and maintain IAM governance documentation, including: Policies Procedures Standards Guidelines Role definitions User Access Review documentation Capture IAM use cases and define identity governance processes with business stakeholders. Support the development of IAM solutions that align with business objectives. Coordinate with multiple project teams and manage dependencies across IAM initiatives. Communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Support project planning, implementation, and successful delivery of IAM projects. Required Skills & Experience 8–10 years of experience as a Business Analyst with significant exposure to Identity & Access Management. Strong experience gathering and documenting business and technical requirements. Solid understanding of: Identity & Access Management (IAM) Identity Lifecycle Management (ILM) Access Management Privileged Access Management (PAM) Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) Experience producing IAM governance documentation and access review processes. Strong stakeholder management and client communication skills. Experience managing dependencies across multiple IAM projects. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams. Preferred Skills Experience with Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) platforms. Understanding of operational, security, compliance, and regulatory risks related to IAM. Experience defining IAM processes and governance frameworks. Familiarity with enterprise access review and role management processes. Project Overview The project focuses on implementing and enhancing an enterprise Identity Governance solution by integrating multiple business applications to enable automated user provisioning, de-provisioning, and periodic access reviews. The Business Analyst will play a key role in gathering requirements, defining IAM processes, and supporting successful project delivery.
