The role involves supporting business-driven data initiatives, ensuring data quality and traceability, and contributing to the adoption of modern data platforms and cloud-enabled architectures where relevant. /ph3Responsibilities /h3pCollaborate with business data analysts, business experts and project stakeholders to gather, clarify and formalize reporting, analytics and data requirements. /ppProduce and maintain functional design documents, detailed specifications and business rules. /ppEnsure end-to-end traceability between business requirements, source systems, business rules and delivered data solutions. /ppWork closely with Data Engineers, Business Process Analysts, IT Analysts and delivery teams. /ppPrototype and validate business rules with stakeholders. /ppContribute to enterprise data warehouse, datamart and analytical data model design. /ppDefine source-to-target mappings, integration logic and functional data flows. /ppAnalyze and profile operational data sources and identify data quality issues. /ppDefine and execute functional test plans, document test evidence and maintain issue logs. /ppContribute to business-oriented access rights and data security requirements. /ppAssess project impacts, dependencies, risks and priorities. /ppSupport effort estimation, scope definition and mitigation planning. /ppPromote continuous improvement in data governance and delivery practices. /ppDeliver Functional Design Documents (FDD), Source-to-Target Mappings (FMT), Logical Data Models and testing documentation. /ph3Must have /h3pAt least 8 years of proven experience in Business Intelligence or Analytics. /ppAt least 5 years of proven experience as a BI/Data Analytics Analyst or Consultant. /ppProven experience with Erwin Data Modelling. /ppProven experience with Power BI. /ppProven experience with SAS Enterprise Guide (EG). /ppProven experience with SAS Visual Analytics (SAS VA). /ppProven experience in logistics reporting on SAP S/4HANA. /ppSenior-level experience in business requirements gathering and functional analysis. /ppExperience as a BI Functional Analyst across at least two distinct business sectors. /ppExperience with reporting, data warehousing and analytical solutions. /ppFamiliarity with dimensional modelling, star schemas and data integration flows. /ppAbility to conceptualize business processes and data domains, demonstrable during an interview. /ppAbility to communicate ideas clearly and in a structured manner, demonstrable during an interview. /ppFluency in French or Dutch. /ppStrong analytical, stakeholder management and communication skills. /ppAutonomous, proactive and solution-oriented approach. /ph3Should have /h3pProject Management certification or proven Project Management experience. /ppExperience within a Distribution System Operator (DSO/GRD). /ppExperience in the Utilities sector. /ppProven experience with Oracle Exadata. /ppProven experience with SAS Data Integration. /ph3Nice to have /h3p– Interest in modern data platforms, cloud technologies and evolving analytics ecosystems. /ph3Who we are /h3pCommunity Consulting goes beyond traditional consulting; it’s all about fostering connections in an atmosphere of trust and confidence. /ppbTransparency Honesty /b : We say things as they are.
