pOur client, a leading organization in the utilities sector, is looking for a professional to transform business needs into valuable data-driven solutions. This role bridges the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams to design and evolve high-quality data products within a modern platform environment. /p ul liCollaborate with business stakeholders and experts to gather, refine, and formalize complex reporting and analytics requirements. /li liProduce and maintain detailed functional designs, business rules, and technical specifications for data solutions. /li liDesign logical data models and define source-to-target mappings for enterprise data warehouses and datamarts. /li liConduct data profiling and analysis on operational sources to identify and resolve quality issues and ensure data integrity. /li liDefine and execute functional tests to validate that implemented solutions meet business expectations and security standards. /li liProvide functional expertise and recommendations to project managers, assisting with effort estimation and risk assessment. /li /ul ul li8+ years of experience in bBusiness Intelligence /b or bAnalytics /b environments. /li li5+ years of experience as a bFunctional Analyst /b or bConsultant /b within data-focused projects. /li liExpertise in bPower BI /b, bSAS Enterprise Guide (EG) /b, and bSAS Visual Analytics (SAS VA) /b. /li liExtensive experience with bbusiness requirements gathering /b and producing bFunctional Design Documents (FDD) /b. /li liProven experience in bLogistic reporting /b on bSAP S/4HANA /b. /li liAdvanced knowledge of bdata modeling /b tools like bErwin Data Modeler /b, including bdimensional modeling /b and bstar schemas /b. /li liDemonstrated experience working as a functional analyst across at least two distinct business sectors. /li liYou possess a Master's Degree in a relevant field. /li liYou bring a strong analytical mindset and the ability to conceptualize processes and present ideas in a structured way. /li liYou are fluent in bFrench /b or bDutch /b. /li /ul h3Nice to Haves /h3 ul liExperience with bSAS Data Integration /b or bExadata /b. /li liProfessional background in the bUtilities /b sector or experience with bGrid Operators (GRD) /b. /li liCertification or experience as a bProject Manager /b. /li liWillingness to adopt and learn modern cloud technologies and evolving analytics ecosystems. /li /ul ul libStart date: /b 19/10/2026 /li libDuration: /b 12 months with extension potential up to 72 months /li libWork regime: /b Full-time /li libLocation: /b Brussels /li libWorking model: /b Onsite /li libContract: /b open to both permanent employees and freelancers /li /ul
