What you will do
You will be responsible for analysing business processes within a Belgian public-sector organisation. Working upstream in projects, you will describe the current and future state of processes in detail, ensuring that solutions are clearly defined and ready for implementation.
Your responsibilities include:
- Organising and leading workshops and meetings to understand and map business processes
- Writing documentation that defines processes in sufficient detail for analysts to implement solutions directly
- Ensuring throughout the project that the implemented solution corresponds to what was agreed with the business
- Capturing information and producing deliverables in line with the organisation's standards and methodology
What we are looking for
You have expert-level experience as a functional analyst and bring strong skills in process modelling and requirements definition:
- Expert knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Expert knowledge of BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation)
- Confirmed experience with storytelling, testing, UML, use cases, and user stories
We are looking for someone with strong behavioural skills:
- Communication: you organise and lead meetings and workshops effectively, and you listen well
- Conceptualisation: you translate abstract reasoning and general concepts into practical solutions
- Information analysis: you analyse data in a targeted way and assess information critically
- Cross-functional understanding: you see beyond the boundaries of individual departments and evaluate the impact of decisions on other areas of the organisation
You are fluent in both Dutch and French (active knowledge), with at least passive knowledge of English.
