Fleet Manager Europe

As the European Fleet Manager at AAK, you will beresponsible for strategic alignment of processes and suppliers across Europeand identifying cost-saving opportunities. Your goal is to ensure efficient andeffective fleet operations that support AAK's business objectives.
This position only offers a 1-year fixed term contract.
Tasksand responsibilities:
- Policy and process owner for fleet management in Europe and responsible for renewals and improvements
- Maintain or improve TCO and cash allowance rates fitting with market trends and inflation.
- Standardize fleet management processes across European operations including ordering and return procedures.
- Participate in other continuous improvement projects where required for example on business mileages reporting and home chargers.
- Identify and establish relationships with key suppliers to ensure consistent service quality and cost efficiency.
- Additionally collaborate with procurement on supplier management and selection.
- Develop and monitor fleet budgets, ensuring accurate cost indications and financial reporting.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of fleet inventory, maintenance schedules, and compliance documentation.
- Conduct (annual) review of benchmark vehicles and cash allowances.
- Manage the annual evaluation of the vehicle allocation list and propose amendments to emission thresholds where applicable.
- Perform quarterly assessments of vehicle allocation lists to ensure policy compliance and competitiveness.
- Manage the performance of fleet providers against defined service level agreements and KPIs.
- First point of escalation for queries regarding company car (policy).
About you
- Proven experience in fleet management, preferably ina European or multinational context with deep knowledge and demonstratedaccomplishments.
- Strong knowledge of fleet management systems, logistics, and suppliermanagement.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informeddecisions.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-pacedenvironment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and fleet management software.
- Fluency in English; additional European languages are a plus.
