Function
For TML Ghent, we are looking for forklift and reach truck drivers who want to work in a 2-shift system.
As a forklift and reach truck driver, you will not only move goods safely, but also assemble orders, pack and provide shipping labels. You will also perform visual checks and assist with simple packing repairs. Your duties also include loading goods into containers, trailers and trucks. A selection of your tasks include:
Receiving goods and unloading them from containers, trailers and trucks using a forklift truck You check the received goods for quantity and damage You place the goods at the predestined location in the warehouse using a reach truck, taking into consideration the system. If necessary, you move the goods within the warehouse with a forklift or reach truck You also compile and pack orders. In doing so, you apply the correct shipping labels Checking documents and completing / filling in the necessary details correctly You carry out a first visual check of the handled goods and their packaging and you do simple repairs to damaged packaging Loading the goods into containers, trailers, trucks,... on the basis of a loading schedule

You have a valid forklift and/or reach truck certificate You can understand instructions from a loading schedule and loading diagram You can work with an (electric) transpallet and a strapping machine. Working in a team is not a problem for you Knowledge of Dutch and/or English You can work in 2 shifts: 6am-14pm and 2pm-22pm.
