What will you be doing?
As a Manager Finance Transformation, you'll be at the forefront of driving change and delivering results. Your days will be filled with dynamic challenges and opportunities to lead transformational projects.
Here's a glimpse into what you'll be doing:
Collaborate with clients: Partner with stakeholders to understand business objectives, pain points, and opportunities for improvement. Develop business strategies: Create and execute development strategies to acquire new clients and expand existing relationships. Design and implement initiatives: Lead the design and implementation of finance transformation initiatives aligned with clients' strategic priorities and regulatory requirements, including IFRS and Sustainable Finance (. EU Taxonomy, CSRD, Assess, diagnose, and recommend: Conduct assessments, diagnose issues, and recommend solutions to enhance finance processes, systems, data, and organization. Support ERP implementations: Assist in the implementation of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Workday) to streamline finance operations and enhance data analytics with solutions such as AnaPlan or Tagetik. Thought leadership: Develop thought leadership content, methodologies, and tools to differentiate the practice and enhance its value proposition. Build relationships: Foster relationships with external partners and leverage BDO's network to stay abreast of trends and innovations in finance transformation. Collaboration: Collaborate closely with colleagues from various Business Practices to create a real impact for our clients.
What do you bring to the table?
We're looking for someone who embodies excellence in finance transformation. Here's what you'll need to succeed:
Relevant experience: 5-8 years of experience in finance transformation consulting, preferably in the financial services industry. Educational background: Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. Language proficiency: Native level in Dutch or French and very good knowledge of the other language, complemented with profound English skills. Expertise: Demonstrated expertise in accounting, financial reporting, and management reporting, with knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements. Leadership: Strong leadership skills, with experience in managing more junior profiles and developing talent. Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and persuade clients and stakeholders at all levels. Business development: Proven track record of supporting business development, including lead generation and proposal development. Consulting skills: Transversal core consulting skills such as project management, problem-solving, change management, and stakeholder engagement. ERP experience: Experience with the implementation of ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Workday. Flexibility: Flexibility to travel and work in different locations as needed. Passion: Desire to be part of a team with strong growth potential.
