EnergyVille () is een samenwerking tussen de Belgische onderzoekspartners KU Leuven, VITO, imec en UHasselt in het domein van duurzame energie en intelligente energiesystemen. De “ S mart E nergy & B uilt Environment” Unit binnen EnergyVille (VITO) faciliteert de energietransitie in de bebouwde omgeving via kennisdeling en beleidsadvies evenals via technologie-ontwikkeling. We plannen in onze Unit een uitbreiding van de activiteiten op vlak van product-en constructie-innovatie in de bouw en zoeken daarvoor een senior onderzoeker/coördinator.
In samenwerking met onze partners breiden we onze R&D activiteiten uit voor de ontwikkeling van nieuwe bouwproducten. De focus ligt hierbij op slimme gebouwschilcomponenten (gevels, daken) en HVAC-systemen voor gebouwen. Ook een uitbreiding van onze activiteiten op vlak van digitalisering van constructiemethodes voor de bouwsector zijn gepland.
Beschrijving
Als “Senior Onderzoeker” werk je een visie voor de onderzoeksactiviteiten uit en bespreek/definieer je onderzoekvragen op basis van een degelijk state of the art overzicht. Je werkt een roadmap uit, in overleg met je teamleden en EnergyVille partners, met een horizon van 5- jaar. Je bent het eerste aanspreekpunt (extern en intern) voor de activiteiten, zorgt voor zichtbaarheid van onze acties en bouwt concrete samenwerkingen uit. Je bent sterk betrokken in het werven van onderzoeksmiddelen en zorgt mee voor de opbouw van een projectenportefeuille rond deze onderzoeksactiviteiten. Je geeft richting aan de uitvoering van de ontwikkelingen in lijn met de roadmap. Je bent betrokken in onderzoeksprojecten maar coacht/volgt evengoed ook projecteams en hun activiteiten meer op afstand op.
Profiel
Je behaalde een doctoraat in de toegepaste wetenschappen. Je hebt minimaal 5 jaar ervaring in een relevant domein (energie, bouwfysica, bouwtechniek / constructie van gebouwen). Je hebt ervaring met onderzoeksprogramma’s, zowel op het vlak van het werven als uitvoeren van projecten (bv. VLAIO, HEU, Interreg,…). Je hebt ervaring met toegepaste technologie ontwikkeling. Je bent een sterke communicator die teams kan motiveren in het realiseren van een gezamenlijke ambitie. Je beschikt over uitstekende netwerk-competenties. Je drukt je vlot uit in het Engels (mondeling en schriftelijk), kennis van het Nederlands is een toegevoegde waarde. Als je het vele pendelen beu bent, ben jij bij ons op het goede adres. Wij werken ‘activity based’, onze activiteiten brengen ons naar onze locatie. Onze EnergyVille vestiging is in Genk, hier spreken we samen minstens 1 keer in de week af. Deeltijds werken vanuit huis, ons hoofdkantoor in Mol, of werken vanuit een satellietkantoor in Antwerpen-Berchem, Gent of Oostende is mogelijk.
