The goal
In order tokeep ensuring state-of-the art products, we are currently recruiting a customeroriented, innovative thinking and hands-on (Junior) Product manager for theparcels & logistics department for our services in our cross-border unitEurope and Asia.
The job
The Productmanager is in charge of introducing new products in the parcels & logisticsorganization and/or revising the current portfolio. These are the products forthe market in Europe and Asia. You will work in a team of 3 other productmanagers, where you will collaborate closely with your other colleague who isexpert in the market of Europe, UK & Asia. You makemarket analysis based on external benchmarks and internal knowhow in order to identifythe product potential and requirements. Based on these requirements, you definethe product introduction strategy. (process, pricing, targetgroup, sellingpotential,…)
You developand implement the products, describe the features and challenge the operationaland ICT partners to implement these. Throughoutthe different phases in these processes, you ensure that the project team andall stakeholders understand the specifications of the product and that they arealigned. You areresponsible for the delivery of these products and set milestone to keep trackon progress of the projects. You alignwith the other product managers & G2M team to ensure they can launch theproduct accordingly You areresponsible for the P&L of the product and adapt processes and productswhere needed to create additional EBIT.
In thisfast-paced environment, the portfolio manager is end-to-end responsible forhis/her product portfolio, focusing on customer orientation and ensuring auser-friendly and qualitative result.
