Description

  • LOGISTICS:
  • Managing warehouse human resources, seeing to it that enough people are available to handle the different tasks. Monitor/follow up on regulatory requirements (in coordination with health & safety advisor)
  • Managing purchase planning with Sales & Marketing: seeing to it forward cover is continuously monitored and optimized.
  • REPORTING:
  • Produce reporting documents mainly on inventory level. Participation in preparation of Budgets and Last Estimates.
  • SPECIAL PROJECTS:
  • Warehouse/logistic procedures changes, adaptation to new legislation; ERP Updates; optimization and coordination of IT flows.
  • CUSTOMS & EXCISE:
  • Supervise the customs & excise function: seeing to it that the Customs & Excise agent is able to handle the job in coordination with logistics, and providing help whenever possible or required if the person is not present.
  • FACILITIES:
  • Ongoing exploitation and upgrades, managing all aspects of building infrastructure of the company
  • Proactive coordination with management and the rest of Laguito Management team: Finance, Marketing, Sales and General Managers.

Profile

  • Languages: Dutch, English and French. (Spanish will be a plus)
  • Experience: 5+ Years on Logistics / Operations managerial function.
  • University degree in Logistics (Business/Marketing)
  • Capacity to lead mid-term projects and respect deadlines.
  • Good communication and analytical skills.
  • Flexible working attitude, and solution & simplification driven mindset.
  • Team leader spirit, capable to motivate and lead a 10+ people team and drive improvement and changes on their ways of working.
  • Software skills: Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, MS Dynamics Business Central
