Working as a Finance Controller
The Finance controller deals with the financial reports, IFRS and the general financial results of Orange Cyberdefense and supports senior management and advises on financial, business, and strategic issues. Also, the controller will determine the budgeting, take care of the liquidity forecasts and cash management, as well signal developments in the financial field. All this to manage and improve the financial performance of Orange Cyberdefense.
Responsibilities
Participating in the budgeting processes Creating a bridge between actuals versus budget. Control the actuals versus budget and organize monthly follow-up meetings with department managers. Preparation of Financial reports. Produce a weekly cash forecast and send it to Group Finance. Prepare, create and upload IFRS bookings. Prepare the year-end closing for Orange Cyberdefense and support the FinanceManager at coordinating the audit processes.
Analyze financial results in the right legal entity (for example, IFRS, BE GAAP). Manage balance accounts, this includes suspense accounts, follow up and recordclaims for long term and short term, accrued charges.
Submit reports on the last working day of the month. Coordination of intercompany invoices with Group Finance and other OrangeCyberdefense entities.

A bachelor’s or master degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
Proven experience as Finance controller
Fluency in English Dutch and French, with strong verbal and written communication abilities.
Accounting skills (IRFS + BE GAAP)
Proficiency in MS Office ( Excel, PowerPoint )
A team player who can work independently with minimal supervision.
