Job Description:

The Portfolio Director is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, consumer recruitment, and revenue growth. This role involves overseeing all marketing activities, including digital marketing, product marketing, content creation, public relations, and market research. The Marketing Director will

lead a team of marketing professionals and collaborate with other departments to ensure cohesive and effective marketing efforts. The Portfolio Director will have full responsibility for the confectionery brand and portfolio situated in the cells: Bitesize, Fruity, Bars, Ice cream, Seasonals & Gifting and Gum. Covering the Benelux/ ITR market and reporting in the cluster to the Strategic Demand Director Benelux/ ITR

What are we looking for?

Master degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.

Proven experience (8+ years) in a senior marketing role, preferably within the industry.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Knowledge / Experience

Expertise in (digital) marketing strategies and tools.

Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. ·

Analytical and strategic mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.

Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and problem-solving.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

What will be your key responsibilities?

Strategic Planning and Execution : o Develop and implement marketing strategies aligned with business objectives. o Oversee the creation of annual marketing plans, including budget allocation and resource management. o Monitor and analyze market trends and adjust strategies accordingly. Team Leadership and Development: o Lead, mentor, and manage the portfolio team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. o Recruit, train, and evaluate team members to ensure optimal performance and professional growth. Brand Management : o Maintain and enhance the company’s brand image and market positioning. o Ensure brand consistency across all marketing channels and materials. o Oversee the development of compelling brand messaging and storytelling. Digital Marketing : o Direct digital marketing initiatives including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and content marketing. o Leverage analytics and data-driven insights to optimize campaigns and improve ROI. Product Marketing : o Collaborate with product development teams to create effective go-to-market strategies. o Develop product positioning, messaging, and marketing materials that resonate with target audiences. o Support sales teams with tools and resources to drive product adoption and sales. Market Research and Analysis : o Conduct market research to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape. o Use data to make informed decisions and adjust marketing strategies as needed. o Prepare and present reports on marketing activities, performance, and ROI to senior management. Public Relations and Communications: o Develop and maintain relationships with media, industry influencers, and key stakeholders. o Oversee PR/ media campaigns, press releases, and media outreach efforts. o Manage crisis communication and maintain the company’s reputation. Collaboration and Cross-Functional Coordination: o Work closely with sales, product, and customer service teams to ensure alignment and integration of marketing efforts. o Collaborate with external partners, agencies, and vendors to enhance marketing initiatives.
