**What you’ll be doing**

- Own and drive new business development for the Belgian market, identifying, pursuing, and converting new client opportunities in line with egg’s growth ambitions
- Build and activate your existing Belgian client network (“black book”) to generate qualified leads and new brand opportunities
- Proactively prospect and open doors with decision-makers, positioning egg as a strategic partner for brand events and experiential marketing
- Represent and promote egg’s brand, capabilities, and expertise within Belgium through meetings, presentations, and industry networking
- Monitor local market trends, competitor activity, and client needs to identify growth opportunities and keep egg commercially relevant in Belgium
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth handover of won business and a strong client experience from pitch to delivery

**Must haves**

(We really mean it. Candidates who do not meet the following criteria will not be considered.)

- 5+ years’ experience in a commercial role within events, hospitality, or marketing/communications
- An established network of relevant clients and decision-makers that can be actively leveraged to generate new business opportunities fast.
- Demonstrated experience working on brand-led events and experiential marketing projects, with a strong understanding of how brands show up in live experiences
- Strong negotiation skills, paired with a pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset
- Comfortable working independently and managing your own pipeline
- Eligibility to work as a freelancer in the country where the role is based
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Fluency in spoken and written **English & Flemish or English & French** (no scrambled oeufs at egg, svp.)

**Nice to haves**

- Fluency in other languages (in addition to English)
- Agency experience
