Based in Brussels, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Consolidation to lead the Group Consolidation efforts.

Client Details

Reporting directly to the Group Accounting & Controlling Manager, you will play a critical role in major transformation projects and oversee the consolidation of the financial accounts (+80 subsidiaries).

The Group is active in innovation and technologies linked to a specific component of the aviation, automotive and other sectors.

Description

The Head of Consolidation will be responsible for the creation of the department and the main responsibilities will include :

  • The development of the consolidation processes and tools
  • The preparation and management of the consolidated accounts, ensuring the accuracy and compliance with IFRS standards
  • The reporting and analysis, providing the top management with detailed reports and relevant analysis on the consolidated accounts
  • The collaboration and assistance with the M&A department
  • The collaboration with internal and external stakeholders on various reports and supports

Profile

Based in Brussels and working within an international Group on a Global position, the Head of Consolidation gathers a certain set of experience and skills :

  • Master's degree in Finance / Economics / Accounting - or equivalent
  • + 10 years of experience with Min 3 years of experience in a Consolidation manager or Consolidation expertise position
  • Experience within the industrial sector is a plus
  • Experience within management is a plus
  • Experience in a large Group Consolidation is a must
  • Expertise in IFRS
  • Proactive and autonomous with a team spirit
  • Leadership and project management skills
  • IT or process oriented
