belangrijkste verantwoordelijkheden

  • Je beheert en ondersteunt de projecten binnen het eiwit MS-team
  • Je coacht en assisteert teamleden bij de LC-MS-gebaseerde eiwitkarakterisering en zorgt voor adequate rapportage volgens de hoge bedrijfsstandaard
  • Je scopet nieuwe projecten samen met de klant en het commerciële team
  • Samen met je team zorg je voor een goede projectplanning en -uitvoering
  • Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het opleiden van nieuwe teamleden
  • Je ontwikkelt en past innovatieve LC-MS-methodieken toe voor diepgaande eiwitkarakterisering in verschillende ontwikkelingsstadia
  • Je behandelt complexe en wetenschappelijk uitdagende projecten voor onze industriële (bijvoorbeeld biotech en farmaceutische) en academische partners
  • Je ontwerpt en plant experimenten, verwerkt gegevens, legt bevindingen vast in rapporten en communiceert met klanten
  • Je stemt af met het management en het commerciële team over strategische keuzes
  • Je geeft klanten regelmatig updates over het projectproces en de toekomst

    jouw aanbod

    • Ph.D. in chemie, biochemie, biotechnologie, farmacie of gelijkwaardige kwalificatie met minimaal 8 jaar expertise in het vakgebied
    • Kennis van LC-MS en in het bijzonder large molecules
    • Diepgaand wetenschappelijk inzicht in eiwit LC-MS (top-down, middle-down en bottom-up analyse)
    • Praktische ervaring met LC-MS-gegevensverwerking en structurele karakterisering van eiwitten
    • Goede kennis van eiwitchemie en eiwitscheidingen
    • Bewezen vaardigheden op het gebied van methodeontwikkeling
    • Aantoonbare ervaring met het coachen en aansturen van een team van experts
    • Comfortabel omgaan met klanten (verzoeken bespreken, scope afstemmen, resultaten presenteren)
    • Toegewijd aan het behalen van projectdoelen binnen scope, tijd en budget
    • Vloeiend in het Engels (schriftelijk en mondeling)
