We are seeking a Process Support Operator to join our Process Support team, based at our UCB campus in Braine l'Alleud, Belgium.

 

About the role

As a member of the Process Support team, you will contribute to the smooth running of cell culture and purification operations at the BioPilot. You will be responsible for various support activities, such as sourcing consumables, preparing media and buffers, and managing production equipment.

 

Who you'll work with

You will collaborate with the Process USP & DSP teams to ensure continuity of operations at the BioPilot. Your role will be crucial in maintaining GMP and HSE standards while ensuring process efficiency.

 

What you'll do

  • You will organize work areas and prepare equipment according to GMP standards.
  • You will be responsible for cleaning equipment and production areas.
  • You will manage the transfer of products between different production areas and inventory management.
  • You will contribute to documentation of batch records and in-process controls.
  • You will conduct IPC tests and equipment calibration.
  • You will help maintain a safe and orderly work environment.

 

Interested? For this role, we are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:

  • Secondary diploma and previous experience in a similar role.
  • Cefochim certification or equivalent.
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in biotechnological production and GMP standards.
  • Ability to work autonomously and in a team.
  • Great flexibility and adaptability.
  • Ability to work in a non-routine and challenging environment.
  • Proficiency in French, both spoken and written.
