In addition to its technical and operational activities, Elia is also actively involved in social and environmental initiatives. As a Talent Acquisition specialist at Elia, you will be responsible for identifying, attracting, and selecting talent for a variety of positions within our company. With a focus on roles such as technicians, dispatchers, and other technically specialized roles, you will work closely with hiring managers and HR teams to ensure we recruit the best candidates who support our mission and vision.

  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract technical talent for various positions within Elia.
  • Actively search for qualified candidates through various channels, including online job boards, social media, networking, and other relevant sources.
  • Conduct screening interviews and assessments to evaluate candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Build and maintain a talent pool of qualified candidates for future vacancies.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to draft job descriptions and understand team needs.
  • Coordinate the selection process, including scheduling interviews, organising recruitment days, and managing communication with candidates.
  • Contribute to employer branding initiatives to position Elia as an attractive employer for technical talent.
  • Report on recruitment activities and provide insights to continuously improve the recruitment process.

Your Profile

 

Who are we looking for? 

 

  • Bachelor's or master’s degree in HR, psychology, business administration, or a related field.
  • Demonstrable experience in technical recruitment, preferably within the energy sector or a similar industry.
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment methods, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selecting candidates.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to negotiate effectively and build relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving recruitment objectives and delivering high-quality candidates.
  • Proactive attitude and the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
  • Fluent in Dutch and French.

  • Salary: a competitive salary package, allowance for representation expenses, year-end bonus, double vacation pay, meal vouchers (€8 per working day), eco-vouchers, sport & culture vouchers, bonuses based on individual and group results.
