+ Design Director Interior

As Design Director for Interior , you are responsible for setting and driving the creative direction of our interior design team. You combine hands-on design leadership with team development, client stewardship, and the ongoing refinement of how we work. Design leadership & direction: You challenge and define creative briefings, steer design development on projects, and ensure consistency, clarity, and quality across all interior work. You challenge teams to push concepts further while keeping it feasible and relevant. Project ownership: You oversee the design of projects from concept through pre-production and site phases. You maintain concept control and guide teams through design decisions. On selected projects, you take full creative ownership yourself. Team leadership & development: You support the leadership of the interior design team, with a particular focus on junior and mid-level designers. You bring structure, clarity, and inspiration to the team, organising and chairing team meetings, following up on decisions, and actively reinforcing the studio’s culture and vision. You plan and lead development dialogues for junior and mid designers. You identify training needs, facilitate growth, and ensure proper follow-up, reporting, and documentation. Process & collaboration: Together with the Creative Director, you continuously evaluate and improve design processes, workflows, and file organisation, implementing best practices that support both creativity and efficiency. You stimulate cross-functional collaboration with strategy, branding, copy, client service, and project management teams. Client partnership: You act as a creative lead for clients, building long-term relationships based on trust, clarity, and strong design thinking. You present work confidently and translate complex ideas into compelling stories that resonate with clients and stakeholders. About you You bring around 8 years of proven experience in F&B, Experiential or Hospitality interior design, with the seniority to operate at a design direction level. What sets you apart: You bring extensive experience in F&B, Experiential or Hospitality interior design. You define and guard creative vision, taking responsibility for overall design quality and coherence. You have a natural ability to lead, guide, and inspire designers at different career stages. You enjoy optimising processes and ways of working. You communicate clearly and convincingly with clients, teams, and stakeholders. You can present work with enthusiasm and bring a design story to life in a compelling way. You balance creative ambition with budget awareness, timing, and feasibility. You take ownership naturally and you feel comfortable managing multiple priorities. You enjoy building team culture, structure, and clarity. You thrive in an international environment and are willing to travel across Europe and the Middle East. You are fluent in English.
