Marketing Project Consultant – Automotive Sector (Freelance)

Location: Brussels (Hybrid possible)

Languages: Fluent Dutch (required) + good knowledge of French and/or English

Contract Type: Freelance (open to permanent contracts)

We are supporting a major player in the automotive sector, active in the sale of used vehicles and leasing solutions for private and professional customers. To strengthen their internal marketing and communications team, we are looking for a creative and hands-on Marketing Project Consultant to support the development and rollout of campaigns for two of their brands.

Working closely with the internal Marketing Project Manager, you will play a key role in implementing the commercial and marketing strategy and helping drive lead generation and sales through creative campaign support.

Responsibilities
  • Set up and manage monthly communication plans (social media, websites, dealer activations, etc.).
  • Support the implementation of commercial and marketing strategies.
  • Create visuals and copy for both digital and print campaigns: web banners, social media ads, newsletters, posters, flyers, POS material, SEO/SEA, surveys (e.g. NPS), etc.
  • Manage campaign activities on brand websites via CMS: activate/deactivate promotions, follow up on bugs, process change requests, and prepare website improvement requirements.
  • Create and manage content: newsletters, blog posts, social media posts (e.g. Facebook), etc.
  • Ensure brand consistency in both visual and written communications.
  • Propose creative ideas and concepts for marketing activations.
  • Respect deadlines while maintaining a high level of quality.
  • Manage stakeholders such as media agencies, creative agencies, and commercial partners: prepare briefings, follow up on deliverables, ensure project alignment.
Profile
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a Marketing Project Consultant, preferably with agency experience or in the automotive industry.
  • Proficient in Office tools (especially Excel), and familiar with major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.).
  • Knowledge of graphic tools like Photoshop or Canva is a strong asset.
  • Experience creating content for both digital (social, newsletters, banners) and print (flyers, posters, POS).
  • Strong copywriting skills are a major plus.
  • Knowledge of the automotive industry is a plus.
  • Creative, structured, proactive, detail-oriented, and commercially minded.
  • Fluent in Dutch, with a good understanding of French and/or English.
  • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
