For this multinational company currently in the process of opening a new distribution center in Belgium, we are looking for an experienced accountant to join a small 4-people team. In this position, you will work hand in hand with the finance department at the company's HQ in Asia, as well as with the local finance manager. Along with daily accounting, you will act as the person in charge for administration.This position is based in Leuven.Accounting Officer – The RoleBook invoices in the accounting software (AP/AR/bank statements)Create and transmit invoices to customers, liaise with the credit control departmentPrepare month-and year-end closings (salaries, provisions, accruals..)Prepare regular reports for the company's finance department at HQPoint of contact for the external accountant & during auditsDay-to-day administration & office managementAccounting Officer – About YouYou have obtained a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or in a relevant fieldYou have at least 3 years' experience in a similar position in a Belgian companyYou are fluent in English, Dutch and/or French are an assetYou thrive working autonomouslyAccounting Officer – The OfferThe company offers a competitive salary package including:Gross salary between 3500€ & 5000€ based on your experienceMeal vouchersHospitalization Insurance for you and your familyPerformance bonusYou will join a newly launched department with a steady growth curve, being part of a small team within a global organization in which you will have a key role managing administration and accounting.
