Overview Business Development Manager - Asset Management role at Emerson . Location: Diegem, Belgium (Benelux) with travel to Benelux and occasional Europe. Join a young, entrepreneurial Systems and Solutions sales team and drive the Asset Management Solutions (AMS) business in Belgium and the Netherlands by identifying new leads, managing projects, and meeting customer needs while collaborating with global teams. Responsibilities Generate new opportunities, visit customers, and provide value to their business. Understand customers and provide input to support a project-based approach with our consultants. Align priorities with sales leadership and establish a prioritized strategic plan. Provide technical support to customers (internal and external) and connect them to experts as needed. Develop sales initiatives, participate in events and conferences as an Emerson ambassador. You see the big picture, imagine future scenarios, and create strategies to sustain competitive advantage. You continuously assess the market potential of ideas or solutions. You experiment with existing technologies while applying new options to enhance outcomes. You are collaborative, positive, and build rapport openly. For This Role, You Will Need Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent experience in instrumentation or automation Sales or business development experience in a commercial role Curiosity about technology and innovations; comfortable in a technical environment Proficiency in English and Dutch Availability to travel in Benelux (and occasionally in Europe) Preferred Qualifications Ability to work within a complex matrix organization and collaborate across business units Experience within Distributed Control Systems / Process Instrumentation / Asset Management Platforms French language skills Our Culture & Commitment At Emerson, we prioritize a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow.
