Your road to success
The Business Development Manager is responsible for prospecting activities, acquisition of new customers and achieving the new business targets for his/her area. Intensive presence in the field, on site at the customer premises and visibility within the mobility community is essential for this external position. He/she works systematically and draws up a strategic prospecting plan of his/her area to identify potential customers, taking into account Athlon's commercial strategy as well as market and sector developments.
He/she develops activities to generate leads and actively contributes to the success of marketing activities.

You have a Master degree or you can prove you have comparable professional experience.
You have 4 to 6 years of commercial work experience, at least 2 to 3 years of which in a similar role. A proven track record in a complex B2B environment, preferably in financial services, is a must. Experience with the mobility / leasing sector is a plus.
You keep an overview and structure your work by means of prospecting planning, time management and monitoring KPIs.
You are able to work under pressure and have a flexible, pragmatic and proactive attitude to work towards deadlines.
You are a motivated hunter and networking is in your genes.
You have experience with identifying and maximizing commercial opportunities during visits, trade fairs, events, etc.
You possess sufficient self-reflection, learning ability and you want to continue working on your personal development.
You have excellent communicative skills.
You speak and write fluent Dutch, French and English.
