We need youThe project:Our client in the insurance sector is looking for a Operational Risk Officer to join their team.Responsibilities:Contribute to a key project implementation: with the recent introduction of the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA), your focus until the end of 2024 will be on the implementation of the identified actions plan. In particular, by acting on the ICT risk framework, third party services providers management, business continuity, resilience and incident management.Evaluate and propose solutions: you'll assess the impact of new legislation and certifications (such as ISO27001 V2022) and propose realistic action plans to address identified compliance gaps.Assess risks related to Third party services providers: contribute to the related framework optimisation in order to protect company resilience while preserving efficiency.Design procedures to refine the Business Continuity Planning, emphasizing information protection and controls related to third parties.Analytical Leadership: lead analyses related to operational risk management. You'll be the go-to person for answering queries from regulators, customers, and management.Manage projects, with a high level of autonomy: be at the forefront of new projects aimed at evaluating and mitigating operational risksIs this you ? Fluent in Dutch and/or FrenchGood knowledge of EnglishMaster's degree, or equivalent by experience, in a relevant field (e.g. Risk Management, Business Administration, Finance)Strong analytical skillsGood writing, reporting and presentation skillsStrong process mindset and ability to design frameworksExcellent communication skills, and a lot of persuasivenessProactive approach to problem solvingOperational Risk management and processesBusiness continuity management & resilienceInformation securityThird Party Risk ManagementKnowledge of IT systemsM365 Teams, Office toolsSharepoint onlineMS DynamicsGood knowledge of DORAStrong knowledge of relevant regulations and certifications (ISO27001)Insurance or financial sectorHow we support you ?
