А global digital transformation company with a team of more than 4,900 global players in 26 countries – in Europe, America and Asia, working together to put organizations at the forefront of innovation by bringing together talent, knowledge and technology.Our approach is based on conscious technology, through which we create positive environments and meaningful opportunities, always in our own way, making the complex simple.VASS BeNeLux, in partnership with the European Commission, is currently seeking an Expert Business Intelligence Expert.The role:Design and implement ETL processesDesign and develop reports and dashboardsProvide advice on DB design and performanceDesign and implement data governance procedures (incl. access, data quality)Create data architecture models: optimise data flows and integrate solutionsCreate and maintain Enterprise Data Warehouses (EDW) and complex Business Intelligence Solutions (Data Lakes / Data Lakehouses)Conduct research to improve solutions and provide advice about new approaches and technologies (Data Virtualization, Data Mining, Linked Data, Artificial Intelligence, Big Data)Gather business requirements related to reports and dashboardsWrite technical documentationParticipate in meetings with other teamsPerform data quality testsYou have:Good knowledge of data architecture frameworksExcellent knowledge of data warehouse design and architectureVery good knowledge of near real time data warehousing and/or change data capture technologiesExcellent knowledge of relational and non-relational database systemsVery good knowledge of data architecture best practicesExcellent knowledge of business intelligence technologies, including ETL, online analytical data processing, analytics, reporting etc.Knowledge of data modelling, graphical representation, abstraction and designService- and client-oriented mindsetAbility to solve problems, recognize opportunities, analyse options, draw conclusions and promote approachesVery good analytical capabilities and high-quality drafting skills.Strong communications skills, both verbal (e.g.: presentations, technical- and non-technical workshops etc.), and written (e.g.: technical documents, reports etc.)Leadership and conciliation skills, facilitation of group sessionsAbility to organise and supervise the work of others.Ability to apply high quality standards, work efficiently and fastSpecific requirements:At least 10 years of specific expertise in data warehousesAt least 10 years of specific expertise in relational and non-relational database systems, data modelling tools and SQLAt least 10 years of experience with ETL/SAP Business Objects/QlikSenseAt least 3 years of experience with PowerBIAt least 10 years of experience with data quality managementIf you want to join a dynamic company where technological challenges will be found in your day to day we are waiting for you in the great VASS team.And we encourage you to be the best version of yourself: Transformative, Creative, Honest, VibrantAt VASS we take action every day to achieve a favourable environment that facilitates and promotes equal opportunities, non-discrimination, diversity and inclusion of all people.
