А global digital transformation company with a team of more than 4,900 global players in 26 countries – in Europe, America and Asia, working together to put organizations at the forefront of innovation by bringing together talent, knowledge and technology.Our approach is based on conscious technology, through which we create positive environments and meaningful opportunities, always in our own way, making the complex simple.VASS BeNeLux, in partnership with the European Commission, is currently seeking anBusiness Analyst to work for the European Commission.The role:Following tasks will be performed by external service provider: • Gathering, validating, and documenting business requirements. • Analysis of Business requirements. • Documentation of Business requirements. • Business model analysis. • Business process analysis. • Business processes modelling. • Functional requirements and business cases analysis. • Risk analysis. • Assistance in Business cases, Vision documents, Project Charters and Security Plans.KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS Following skills and knowledge are required for the performance of the above listed tasks: • Good knowledge of information systems matters. • Experience in large organisation administrative business environments. • Good knowledge of analysis/modelling tools and techniques (use case diagram, state diagram, entity relationship model, interaction diagrams etc.). • Good knowledge of BPMN or UML or other with equivalent value. • Good knowledge of Wiki and collaborative sites. • Good understanding of JSON data structure. • Good knowledge of Agile methodology. • Good understanding of software development life cycle. • Experience in using Jira. • Good general understanding of SOA, web services (REST, SOAP), NOSQL, asynchronous processing, Event Driven Architecture. • Rapid self-starting capability. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. • Strong capacity in preparing and writing business analysis. • Capability to speak to business and technical audiences. • Strong capacity to give high-level presentations. • Excellent critical thinker, by using logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions. • Ability to apply high quality standards.
