We are currently hiring a Discipline Manager for our Belgium office. Key Responsibilities Plan and coordinate resources to oversee Design, Construction, Commissioning, and Qualification activities for projects of varying size and complexity Provide hands-on support to project teams, ensuring successful project delivery Manage and lead a high-performance team, including all People Management activities within the department Analyze project stages to anticipate and address discipline-related risks promptly Develop and maintain strong internal and external client relationships to ensure project success and uphold Arcadis interests Demonstrate unwavering commitment to Arcadis Engineering's values and standards Requirements Proven expertise in the specific Discipline Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and leadership skills Ability to prioritize tasks effectively while balancing organizational, team, and client needs Willingness to travel or work from various global offices as needed Resilience and Tenacity: Proven ability to thrive in high-pressure situations Demonstrated resilience in handling challenging circumstances Client-Centered Skills: Ability to excel in a fast-paced, client-focused environment Strong interpersonal, organizational, multitasking, communication, and presentation skills Interpersonal Skills & Relationship Building: Proven track record of building strong internal and external relationships Proficiency and experience with construction contracts Project Management Skills: Recognized Discipline Manager with extensive experience in large project collaboration Successful track record in delivering business projects High level of commitment and ownership in project discipline Self-motivated individual capable of understanding project needs with minimal direction Proficient in managing multiple projects of varying complexities Reporting Skills: Strong skills in schedule and budget management Exceptional attention to detail in reporting Language & ICT Skills: Computer literate with the ability to manage internal and external systems Proficiency in languages such as English, Dutch, and French The ideal candidate for the Department / Discipline Manager position at Arcadis Engineering should possess a blend of these competencies to effectively fulfill the diverse responsibilities of the role and contribute to the success of our projects and clients.
