Through our online auction platform, we offer over 15.000 vehicles per week, sourced from leading fleet owners, leasing and rental companies, as well as banks and dealerships. Over the last 3 years we have delivered a 50% YoY profitable growth, building a leading market position in Europe. As we enter our next growth phase, we are seeking an exceptional commercial leader, who will help us maximize this momentum and unlock significant new growth opportunities. The Role As Chief Commercial Officer , reporting directly to the CEO, you will have full ownership of eCarsTrade’s commercial strategy and revenue performance . You will lead the transformation and scaling of our sales organization , define go-to-market strategy, and position eCarsTrade as the leading digital marketplace for wholesale automotive in Europe. This role is a highly strategic yet expects hands‑on leadership from a proven sales executive who thrives in fast‑growth, marketplace‑driven environments. Key Responsibilities Define and execute the overall commercial strategy aligned with company growth objectives Own end-to-end revenue performance : Identify and develop growth opportunities Lead international expansion initiatives Create new revenue streams Lead and drive change initiatives Apply data‑driven sales leadership to continuously improve: Retention and churn rates Define and implement customer segmentation Scale and optimize the sales organization into a high‑performing, metrics‑driven team Coach, mentor, and develop the Sales Team , embedding best practices and consistently raising performance standards Establish performance management frameworks with clear KPIs and foster a strong culture of ownership and accountability Build and manage strategic partnerships and negociate agreements with key vehicle suppliers Act as the voice of the customer, ensuring market insights directly influence product and commercial strategy Represent eCarsTrade at industry events, conferences, and key partner meetings Conduct competitor and market research to inform strategic decision‑making Your Profile 10+ years of sales leadership experience, with at least 5 years in senior commercial roles Proven track record of building and scaling high‑performing sales organizations and consistently exceeding revenue targets Strategic, executive‑level thinker with a hands‑on approach to driving commercial execution Experience in a B2B marketplace, platform business or automotive wholesale/remarketing environment strongly preferred Strong data‑driven mindset, with experience implementing performance management and KPI frameworks Excellent communication and influencing skills, able to engage effectively from frontline teams to C‑suite stakeholders High emotional intelligence with an empathetic, people‑centered leadership style Nice to Have Deep knowledge of the automotive industry, vehicle valuation, and used car market dynamics Established network within automotive or related industries Fluency in additional European languages (Dutch, French, Spanish, German) MBA or other advanced degree What We Offer Executive‑level impact in a fast‑scaling, profitable company Competitive compensation package with company car and bonus Flexibility, autonomy, and room to build at scale Direct report to the CEO Brand‑new office with gym, modern facilities, drinks and healthy snacks #J-18808-Ljbffr
