Binnen een groeiende machinebouwer in regio Roeselare die duurzame materialen omzet in toekomstgerichte toepassingen, ligt een unieke sleutelrol open voor een CTO. Dit bedrijf ontwikkelt en bouwt industriële installaties rond circulaire vezels, recyclage en innovatieve scheidingstechnieken. Het volledige traject gebeurt inhouse: van concept over ontwerp tot installatie bij de klant. Een team van engineers, technische specialisten en creatievelingen vormt het kloppende hart van de organisatie, gedreven door de ambitie om technologie te koppelen aan een groenere samenleving. In deze rol staat leiderschap centraal. De CTO bepaalt de technologische koers, begeleidt het engineeringteam en bewaakt de kwaliteit van complexe machineontwerpen. De ideale uitdaging voor iemand die graag schakelt tussen strategie, innovatie en technische diepgang, en die impact wil maken op een toekomstgerichte sector. Functieomschrijving Leiding nemen over het engineeringteam en zorgen voor inhoudelijke groei, structuur en coaching Eindverantwoordelijkheid dragen voor het conceptueel en technisch ontwerp van machines Technische keuzes beoordelen en optimaliseren met oog voor kwaliteit, kost en maakbaarheid Samen met de CEO meedenken over de technologische en strategische richting van het bedrijf Nieuwe technologieën en innovatieve oplossingen detecteren, uitwerken en implementeren Innovatieprojecten begeleiden van idee tot realisatie, inclusief octrooidenken Engineeringprocessen verder professionaliseren en toekomstgericht uitbouwen Profiel Industrieel of Burgerlijk Ingenieur Elektromechanica (of gelijkwaardig door ervaring) 5 tot 10 jaar ervaring als leidinggevende in machinebouw of industriële engineering Aantoonbare ervaring in het aansturen en inhoudelijk versterken van engineeringteams Sterk analytisch en technisch inzicht op concept- en architectuurniveau Aanbod Een sleutelrol binnen een technisch sterk en toekomstgericht bedrijf Reële impact op de ontwikkeling van nieuwe technologieën en machines Nauwe samenwerking met CEO en directe invloed op strategische keuzes Een hecht team met korte lijnen en ruimte voor initiatief Ruimte voor innovatie, R&D en persoonlijke ontwikkeling Een mooie brutoloon, afhankelijk van expertise en leiderschapservaring.
