Technical Consultant/Engineer – Palo Alto Networks

We're looking for a hands-on Palo Alto consultant/engineer to support and deliver customer projects across Belgium. You'll work on installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and ongoing support of Palo Alto security solutions, with a strong focus on practical delivery in customer environments.This is not a pure architect role and not a "follow the runbook" role. You'll be expected to think, adapt the solution to the customer context, and execute.What you'll doVisit customers to review requirements and confirm scopeInstall, configure and troubleshoot Palo Alto security solutions (firewalls and related components)Translate needs into a practical technical approach so presales can build the correct offerSupport delivery across multiple customer projects (large national/enterprise clients)Contribute to documentation and continuous improvementAutomate routine tasks where possible (basic scripting/automation)Occasional escalations (rare out-of-hours; most handled next day due to redundancy)Must-haveHands-on Palo Alto experience (installation + configuration in customer environments)Strong troubleshooting mindset and project delivery ownershipCustomer-facing communication skillsWillingness to travel within Belgium (driving required)Nice-to-haveFortinet and/or Check Point (or similar vendors)Certifications (Palo Alto or equivalent)Basic scripting/automation (e.g., Python/PowerShell)Working modelHybrid: customer sites + WFH + ~1 day/week in Antwerp officeTravel is Belgium-onlyLanguagesDutch + English preferredStrong English-only profiles can be consideredContractContract / freelance engagement, initial 12 months (extensions likely; long-term relationship preferred)
