We're looking for a hands-on Palo Alto consultant/engineer to support and deliver customer projects across Belgium. You'll work on installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and ongoing support of Palo Alto security solutions, with a strong focus on practical delivery in customer environments. This is not a pure architect role and not a "follow the runbook" role. You'll be expected to think, adapt the solution to the customer context, and execute. What you'll do Visit customers to review requirements and confirm scope Install, configure and troubleshoot Palo Alto security solutions (firewalls and related components) Translate needs into a practical technical approach so presales can build the correct offer Support delivery across multiple customer projects (large national/enterprise clients) Contribute to documentation and continuous improvement Automate routine tasks where possible (basic scripting/automation) Occasional escalations (rare out-of-hours; most handled next day due to redundancy) Must-have Hands-on Palo Alto experience (installation + configuration in customer environments) Strong troubleshooting mindset and project delivery ownership Customer-facing communication skills Willingness to travel within Belgium (driving required) Nice-to-have Fortinet and/or Check Point (or similar vendors) Certifications (Palo Alto or equivalent) Basic scripting/automation (e.g., Python/PowerShell) Working model Hybrid: customer sites + WFH + ~1 day/week in Antwerp office Travel is Belgium-only Languages Dutch + English preferred Strong English-only profiles can be considered Contract Contract / freelance engagement, initial 12 months (extensions likely; long-term relationship preferred)
