Chief Operating Officer – Family Office (Brussels) A prestigious family office based in Brussels is seeking an experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to manage and optimize its operational, administrative, and investment-related activities. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a dynamic environment combining private wealth management with direct and fund-based investments. Key responsibilities • Oversee daily operations of the family office, ensuring smooth coordination between all business units, service providers, and investment partners. • Supervise financial administration, reporting, governance, compliance, and risk management procedures. • Manage the operational administration of the family's investment fund vehicles, including capital calls, distribution processes, investor reporting, and liaising with custodians, legal advisors, and auditors. • Support the investment teams in deal execution, portfolio monitoring, and performance analysis. • Optimize internal processes and implement best operational practices to ensure efficiency, transparency, and scalability. • Foster strong relationships with external stakeholders, including investors, advisors, banks, and counterparties. • Proven experience as COO, Operations Director, or Head of Operations within a family office, private equity fund, or asset management firm. • Strong understanding of financial administration, fund structures, and regulatory frameworks. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage high-level relationships and represent the family office professionally. • Hands-on approach, proactive mindset, and strong organizational abilities. • Fluent in English; French or Dutch proficiency is a strong asset. • Based in or willing to relocate to Brussels.
