Business Development Manager – CONTRACT / Computer Vision / Machine Vision

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join a 3D vision market leader for an initial 6-month contract with an option to extend. They can offer hybrid working from their offices in Brussels.

You will drive growth in the consumer & industrial markets, excluding mobile & automotive sectors. Your focus will be on expanding our AI computer vision software portfolio, targeting fast-growing segments like 3D imaging. This role involves converting the existing software portfolio into a sustainable business, managing lead generation through to deal closure, & forecasting revenue.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop & execute business plans & marketing strategies in collaboration with internal teams.
  • Contribute to strategy development & define go-to-market & pricing approaches.
  • Build & manage relationships with key customers, aligning product roadmaps & securing design-in opportunities.
  • Identify & grow opportunities within the territory by collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Support contract negotiations & successfully close deals.
  • Represent the company at trade shows & industry conferences.
  • Provide regular updates on progress, initiatives, & goals to internal & external stakeholders.
  • Understand & engage with the entire consumer & industrial supply chain.

Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent); MBA is preferred but not essential.
  • 10+ years of experience in computer vision/AI software sales/business development.
  • Extensive experience in the industrial market, preferably in the computer vision industry.
  • Strong technical background, with embedded systems experience as a plus.
  • Proven ability to source & build new business relationships.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, & presentation skills, including experience working with executive-level stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with a high level of personal commitment & focus.
  • Willingness to travel 20-25% of the time.
