As Sales Manager KAM, you are responsible for leading, coaching, and developing a team of Key Account Managers. You will oversee the sales results within your team and secure future growth by continuously stimulating and winning new business. As Sales Manager KAM, you are a member of the Management Team BE.
Key Accountabilities
- Works with the Country Director Fabory BE to define and develop the strategy of Fabory KAM BE.
- Implements and monitors the commercial strategy of Fabory KAM BE to maximize commercial opportunities and achieve optimal customer experience in line with the Fabory Group strategy.
- Takes responsibility as a Management Team member for the development and execution of the Belgian strategy.
- Leads the retention and development of KAM customers.
- Contributes to the development of Fabory BE's sales strategy by proactively providing strategic input.
- Ensures a constant customer focus within the team and continuous improvement of processes.
- Develops and executes Fabory KAM BE's commercial budget within the guidelines of Fabory.
- Takes actions to realize the budget by managing concrete actions both in the short and long term, and by taking corrective actions when needed.
- Builds an effective growing network with the largest customers and prospects together with the Key Account Managers and Country Director BE.
- Ensures a continuous and forward-looking approach towards accelerated profitable growth by developing a strategy and tactical approach for existing customers, lost customers, and new prospects.
Sales New Business
- Responsible for managing your own pipeline of prospects & new business opportunities, executing on sales for approximately 25% of your time.
- By taking direct hunting responsibility, you set an example for the team on how to win new business and coach them in an inspiring way.
- Motivates, manages, and coaches direct reports.
- Develops talent within the team, making efficient use of the resources provided by the organization.
- Builds partnerships internally and externally according to our values, ensuring we win as a Fabory team by making a difference individually and as a team.
Your Profile
- Master's degree or similar level achieved through experience.
- Successful track record leading commercial teams in a changing environment.
- Extensive sales experience with large industrial customers.
- Focuses on processes; simplifies complex matters.
- Analytically sharp.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Combines enthusiasm and drive with organizational skills and structure.
- Results-driven: shows perseverance in every situation.
- Authentic; knows how to get the best out of people.
- Fluent in Dutch, English, and French.
- Driver's license.
